You have the right to access your personal data. Here’s how to request and download a copy of everything Rallies stores about you.

How to Request Your Data

On Web

  1. Go to Settings → Account or Settings → Privacy
  2. Scroll to “Your Data” or “Data Export”
  3. Click “Request Data Export”
  4. Confirm your request

Processing Time

  • Typical: 24-48 hours
  • Maximum: 7 days for complex requests
  • Notification: You’ll receive an email when ready

Downloading Your Data

Once your export is ready:
  1. You’ll receive an email notification
  2. Click the link in the email (valid for 7 days)
  3. Or go to Settings → Your Data → Download
  4. Click “Download” to get your files

Export Format

Your data is provided as:
  • Format: ZIP file containing JSON and/or CSV files
  • Size: Varies based on your usage
  • Readable: Can be opened in any text editor or spreadsheet

Data Retention

When you request your data:
  • Export available for 7 days - Download before it expires
  • Original data unchanged - Export doesn’t delete anything
  • Request again anytime - No limit on data requests

Using Your Exported Data

Your data is yours to use however you want:
  • Personal records - Keep for your own reference
  • Transfer - Move to another service
  • Analysis - Review your investing patterns
  • Deletion - If you want us to delete it after export

Delete After Export

If you want to delete your account after exporting:
  1. Download your data
  2. Verify the export is complete
  3. Delete your account →
Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How often can I request my data?

There’s no limit, but please allow 30 days between requests to avoid system strain.

What format is the data in?

Primarily JSON and CSV files. JSON for complex data, CSV for tabular data like watchlists.

Is the data encrypted?

Your download link is secure and temporary. Once downloaded, the files are not encrypted—keep them safe.

What if my export takes longer than expected?

Large accounts with extensive history may take up to 7 days. Contact support if you haven’t received it after a week.

Can I request specific data only?

Currently, we provide a complete export. You can filter the files after downloading.
