  • “Manage preferences” — Opens your full notification settings

Unsubscribe from All Marketing

To stop all marketing/promotional emails while keeping essential notifications:
  1. Go to Settings → Notifications
  2. Turn off:
    • Product updates
    • Tips & tutorials
    • Newsletter
  3. Leave on:
    • Account & billing
    • Security alerts
ℹ️ Note: You cannot unsubscribe from certain transactional emails like receipts, security alerts, and billing notifications. These are required for your account.

Notification Quiet Hours

If you don’t want notifications at certain times: On iOS:
  • Use Focus modes or Do Not Disturb, which will silence Rallies along with other apps
On Android:
  • Use Do Not Disturb settings to silence during certain hours
In Rallies settings:
  • Some notification types may have timing options (like digest delivery time)

Syncing Across Devices

Your notification preferences sync across all your devices:
  • Change a setting on web → it applies to mobile
  • Change on iOS → it applies to Android and web
Exception: Push notification permissions are device-specific. You need to enable push in your phone settings on each device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I still getting emails after unsubscribing?

  • Processing time: It can take 24-48 hours for changes to take effect
  • Different email types: You may have unsubscribed from one type but not others
  • Required emails: Receipts and security alerts cannot be disabled

Can I get price alerts by text message (SMS)?

Currently, price alerts are available via email, push notification, and in-app only. SMS is not available.

How do I stop all notifications completely?

You can turn off most notifications in settings, but some (security alerts, billing) cannot be disabled. To stop push notifications entirely, revoke notification permissions in your phone’s settings.

Do notification settings affect what I see in the app?

In-app notifications will still appear in your notification center even if email/push are disabled. Toggle off “In-App” for specific types to remove them from your notification center too.

I turned on push notifications but nothing is happening

Make sure:
  1. App has permission in your phone’s settings
  2. You’re signed in to the app
  3. You have a stable internet connection
  4. The specific notification type has push enabled in Rallies settings
